Footsteps In The Dark- 1941
The movie I chose today is Footsteps in the Dark. Footsteps in the Dark is a comedy as well as a mystery. It was directed by Lloyd Bacon and it stars Errol Flynn and Brenda Marshall. Errol Flynn plays a high-Society gentleman who writes murder mysteries in his spare time under an alias. He tags along with the police to help solve crimes and to get his ideas for new books. The comedy comes in when his wife wonders where he goes every night and why he's always sneaking around. The Movie has no rating on Rotten Tomatoes probably because it's very old and there are not too many people who have seen it. I think this suspenseful comedy is a great movie and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Strangers On A Train
For today's Movie I chose Strangers on a Train. The movie was directed by Alfred Hitchcock and was released in in 1951. It stars Farley Granger, Ruth Roman and Robert Walker. The movie starts with two strangers who meet on a train- Guy Haines and Bruno Anthony. The men talk for hours and finally its gets to the topic of murder. Bruno suggests that him and Guy should swap targets to create the perfect murder. Guy thinks it's outrageous, but Bruno is being serious. Bruno does commit the perfect murder and Guy wants nothing to do with it. The rest of the movie is full of twists and suspense. Law Abiding Citizen
I chose Law Abiding Citizen for today's post. Law Abiding Citizen was directed by F. Gary Gray and was released last year. The movie stars Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx. The movie starts with Gerard Butler's character witnessing the rape and murder of his wife and daughter. Two men were responsible for the murder, but one ultimately gets away with only 7 years to life. Butler's character then sets out his own vendetta against the court system because he feels that there wasn't justice with his wife and daughter's case. He takes matters into his own hands and ends up going to jail. After some well plotted murders by Butler's character, it's Jamie Foxx's role to figure how he's killing people while in jail. The movie is absolutely superb and it definitely will have your attention to the very end. Rotten Tomatoes has the movie rated at a 26% which is an absolute travesty. I guarantee if you're looking for a thriller this movie will definitely leave you satisfied.

First Ever Movie A Day Post- Rear Window
I decided to choose one of my all time favorite movies for my first movie a day post. I chose Rear Window, the Hitchcock film not the cheesy remakes made after it. The film was released in 1954. It's a romantic thriller and it stars Jimmy Stewart as well as Grace Kelly. Its about a Photographer (Jimmy Stewart) who is stuck in his wheelchair all day and has nothing better to do but watch his neighbors out his window. He sees something suspicious from one of his neighbors and suspects murder. The rest of the movie is about how him and his girlfriend (Grace Kelly) try to find out what really happened in his neighbors apartment. I wont tell you Hitchcock's thrilling ending so your just going to have to watch it for yourself and form your own opinion. The Movie has 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and I agree with it. There have been plenty of remakes of Rear Window such as the recent Disturbia, but I would only recommend watching the original. If your looking for a Romantic Thriller, Rear Window is the movie you're looking for.
